Responsibility for Payroll, HR administration, HR legal support, the development of HR policies and procedures and the development of the HR operations team!
Aalborg Portland, Nordic & Baltic Region – a leading, international producer and supplier of grey and white cement – has recently relocated their HR department to Aalborg and is looking for a competent HR Operations Manager
Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will be responsible for developing a performing HR administrative team that will be a valuable and supportive business partner not only to the HR organisation but to internal stakeholders in general.
Your key job will be to provide the necessary structure, processes and guidance for the team. More specifically, your key tasks will be:
You have significant experience within HR Administration and Payroll
You may be head of HR Administration or HR Operations today or work as HR Payroll Manager wanting to unfold your administrative skills in a wider HR administrative setting.
Alternatively, you could be an experienced HR Coordinator or HR Consultant with a sharp administrative focus in your current position, excited to build on some managerial experience.
It is important that you have hands-on experience with a wide palette of HR Administrative tasks, e.g. HR transactions, employment contracts, HR systems and Master Data, local agreements, payroll and reimbursements, and that you are passionate about working within this area of Human Resources.
Furthermore, it is pivotal to this position that you have experience from working with HR administration in a production company where blue-collar workers have been an essential part of the workforce.
Your experience within HR administration and HR transaction is backed by a relevant higher education, and since Aalborg Portland, Nordic & Baltic Region is part of an international group with subsidiaries worldwide, it is important that you have fluency in English – both in writing and verbally.
Detail-oriented with a knack for structure
As a person, you are detail-oriented and analytical, and you are able to translate these traits into the development of structures and high-quality HR procedures and processes supportive of the business. You possess a great sense of proactivity and can-do spirit, and to you, challenges are viewed as opportunities. Your communication is direct and uncomplicated, and you manage to adapt your communication to the different internal stakeholders.
